Cesare attempts to target Franzis’s love interest, Jane, but is chased \u0026amp; captured. Decades later, he is famed for his unchanging youthful good looks, but over the years, his portrait has become corrupted into a hideous monstrosity (shown in shocking Technicolor to unsuspecting 1940s audiences!) As a result of Dorian attempting to hide the shameful painting, let’s just say…there are a few untimely losses of life. Dorian eventually has a change of heart. He attempts to undo some of his bad deeds \u0026amp; stabs the painting in the heart, but in doing so, he receives the mortal wounds instead of the painting.
