But...I'd like to believe otherwise. Nevertheless, the Unknown embodies the idea of fuzzy truths \u0026amp; things not being what they seem. As she guides them through the woods to the \"good witch's\" house, we are led to believe she is an ally.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe truth is, Beatrice has been betraying them all along; planning to turn over the boys to the witch in exchange for a magical pair of heron scissors that will turn her family human again. However, Beatrice \u0026amp; the boys grow closer, she has a change of heart, \u0026amp; decides to sacrifice herself to the witch instead.
