Sometimes life sucks, and all you can do is sit with it. That's just the way it goes. Greg is a "go with the flow" kind of kid, eager to explore & adapt to his surroundings, in stark contrast to his anxious brother. Despite being so young, he's got a lot of wisdom to share...in his own weird way. After he & his brother have to battle a frenzied wolf-like monster (throwing candy at it was NOT an effective strategy, Greg!), Greg discovers the wild beast was really just an overexcited dog. Greg is eager to go on adventures with his "new best friend", but the dog just...wanders away. Oop. Easy come, easy go. Oh well. Greg's wise old "ain't that just the way" is made funnier by the contrast of his youth.

This slime is inspired by Greg's attitude of acceptance and letting life take him where it may. I drew inspiration from Greg's pet frog and the group’s journey on the Frogland Ferry, where a gaggle of amphibians wearing late 19th-century attire play in a marching band as their boat slinks along a swampy marshland. Since Wirt and Greg snuck onto the ship without paying the fare, they disguise themselves as a musician to avoid being outed, and Wirt is forced to overcome his fears and play music for the crowd. After the boat docks, all of the frogs (and Greg) flop down in the mud to hibernate. A rest well-earned.

ATJTW comes with a texture resembling frog skin in the most pleasant way, and a fragrance blend that transports you to a languid, hot, lazy summer in the bayou. Some encouragement to slow down a little and take it easy. Comes with a hefty creamy-clay frog, a giant lily pad for your frog to sit on, and fishbowl beads to represent little pools of water in shades of lilac, emerald, turquoise, and lime. Flowers and light shards reflect the setting sun and a smattering of leaves tops it all off.
