GHAR KA SUKOON //
✋ foamy velvet icee (with optional clay piece)
👃cardamom pods, sandalwood oil, earthy mitti attar steeped in a copper vessel, polished teakwood furniture, kheer bubbling on the stove, rosewater
Notes: Each slime comes with red foil leaf, which you may add for decorative accents, & also comes with a red & gold embroidered mini decorative “rug” (make sure to put the foam barrier in between the slime & fabric before decorating; fabric sticks to slime -- see my assembly video on Instagram for a visual guide of how to assemble). Each slime will come with your choice of a flickering flameless battery-powered candle or detailed peacock clay piece that I have hand-pigmented red & gold. Each slime also comes with a cup of chai charm, and some of them come with an optional golden teapot charm.

“घर बाहर क्या रखा घर में सुकून पाओगे। / What is there to be found outside? You will find peace at home.” - Updesh Kumar Shakyawar
This Hindi / Urdu phrase roughly translates to “the peace of home,” a feeling that many of us introverts have experienced, when there is nothing better than the moment of kicking off one’s shoes, changing into comfortable clothes, & enjoying the silence & coziness of one’s own space, not having to perform or be perceived by anyone.
This solace can be felt in the low thrum of a ceiling fan, steam rising from a mug of tea, rice bubbling away in a pot on the stove, half-listened-to conversations drifting in from another room, the soft texture of the plush couch cradling your weary body. Worn floorboards beneath your feet, scuffed by children’s shoes. Your eyes slowly taking in your familiar belongings, everything where it should be. Your body can decompress, heave a sigh. Home welcomes you just as you are.
I feel like so many of us share this sense of grounded peace, of relaxing at home, even though our cultural nuances of what makes up our homes may differ. This type of sukoon is an emotional exhale, something we long for when we are away from it.
With this slime, I wanted to evoke a cozy & elegant atmosphere cultivated just to one’s tastes. This texture is rich & decadent, a velvety variant of my fan favorite foamy icee texture that reminds me of sinking into plush velvet, in a gorgeous mustard-yellow. It comes with red foil leaf which you may add for decorative accents, & comes with a red & gold embroidered mini decorative “rug” (make sure to put the foam barrier in between the slime & fabric before decorating; fabric sticks to slime). Top it off with the flickering candle, cup of chai, & golden teapot. Alternatively, instead of the candle, I will offer a select few with a peacock clay piece pigmented red & gold.
The fragrance blend is also elegant yet homey - fresh cardamom is predominant, with atmospheric notes of home & a touch of gentle sweetness.
